If you would like to become a member of the Redacre Growing Project, join the waiting list for a plot, raised bed or polytunnel space or join a Redacre group we ask that you first become a Friend of Redacre.
Redacre is run on co-operative principles and values and we suggest taking a look at our Constitution and Membership Rules before applying. If you do wish to join the waiting list for a space you must live within a 2 mile radius of Mytholmroyd centre.
All members are asked to attend at least two Community Days per year or contribute up to six hours per year towards helping maintain and develop the site. There are regular Community Days throughout the year when members come together to socialise and help maintain and develop the site. If you are joining the waiting list you will also need to sign up to one of the activity groups that help to run the site. These include People, Communication, Finance, Materials, Plants and Maintenance.
Friend membership costs £5.00 annually and includes membership of the Redacre Co-operative*, access to the Redacre site, the community orchard, newsletter and social events.
*First year’s fee includes £1.00 Redacre Co-operative membership.
